The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with innovative thinking to overcome current quantum limitations and unlock unprecedented computational power for applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and AI optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for 2026-era workloads
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical high-performance computing frameworks
- Create roadmaps for quantum algorithm development across industry verticals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-suite executives and enterprise clients
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
