Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive roadmap for quantum cloud services targeting enterprise clients by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Security clearance eligibility (DoD/NASA projects)
