Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with data-driven trend analysis and risk/opportunity matrices
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-readiness into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Establish global thought leadership through keynote presentations, whitepapers, and industry forums
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026+ use cases
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies (portfolio examples required)
- Expertise in at least three future-critical domains: quantum systems, neurotech, or climate resilience tech
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique, technology roadmapping)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term technology adoption
