Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and Web3 domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop and execute scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions affecting 2026-2030 business strategy
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) into corporate strategy
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data narratives
- Establish global networks of futurists, technologists, and policymakers to inform strategic foresight initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis with Fortune 500 or scaling tech firms
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and futures research frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep technical understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology disruption (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
