Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain the company's Strategic Foresight Framework with quarterly trend briefings
- Design scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making across product development
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-state solutions using emerging tech (quantum computing, biotech, AI)
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation methodologies across departments
- Publish thought leadership on future trends in industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven experience translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Research or similar credential preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ trend forecasting accuracy
