Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ technology adoption and societal shifts using AI-driven analytics
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify disruptive innovations
- Design and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government futurist programs
- Present foresight briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight culture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in predictive modeling tools (e.g., GPT-4 analysis, trend mining platforms)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to influence organizational strategy through data-driven foresight
