Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, sustainable tech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future business environments
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
- Author thought leadership on long-term technology impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in technology forecasting and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio of published foresight work or scenario planning projects
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech (AI, biotech, Web3, climate tech)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, APF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
