Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for disruptive innovation adoption across global markets
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on future market disruptions
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future-proofing business models
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise product development teams on future-proof feature integration
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional scenario modeling and trend analysis capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) required
