Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business strategy teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP portfolio expansion for future-proof innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation frameworks across the organization
- Collaborate with academic institutions and government agencies on long-term tech policy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic innovation or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products with market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: AGI, neuromorphic computing, and synthetic biology
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience securing government grants for forward-looking R&D projects
