Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through stakeholder presentations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders Program
- Present quarterly innovation portfolios to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching scalable tech products ($10M+ revenue)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Strong financial modeling and budget management skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism
- Experience securing government/VC funding for R&D initiatives
