Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic disruptors through 2026
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic frameworks that inform product development and market expansion
- Partner with engineering teams to translate foresight insights into prototype roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings, white papers, and industry keynotes
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to test future concepts with early adopters and industry partners
- Mentor a team of futurists and analysts while curating a global network of domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500 impact
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, scenario planning)
