- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Mentor junior technologists and foster a culture of experimental learning
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in anticipating tech disruptions (e.g., AI, blockchain, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in futurecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Strong network within tech innovation communities and research institutions
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in agile environments
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
