Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year tech roadmaps targeting 2026 industry disruptions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential through horizon scanning
- Design pilot programs to validate futuristic solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives on tech adoption timelines
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for prototyping and early-stage ventures
- Author whitepapers on future tech ethics and regulatory frameworks
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record scaling emerging tech from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains: quantum systems, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Experience advising boards on technological disruption risks/opportunities
- Portfolio of launched products/services with >$50M revenue impact
