Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, biotech integration, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation systems with real-world implementation pilots
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Create predictive models for technology adoption and societal impact scenarios
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of developing future-facing technology frameworks
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and predictive analytics methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing federal or corporate innovation grants exceeding $1M
