Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategy incorporating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Establish compliance frameworks for 2026 regulatory landscapes (including AI governance and carbon-neutral tech)
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize innovation portfolio based on 2026 market projections
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders including investors and policymakers
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and emerging technology assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on multi-year roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, or conference keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of global tech policy trends and regulatory frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization projects
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight preferred
