Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging tech domains
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks guiding R&D investments through 2026
- Architect next-generation digital ecosystems integrating breakthrough technologies
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state possibilities
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive leadership and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovations
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism publications
- Portfolio demonstrating future-state technology architectures or roadmaps
