Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business growth objectives
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with 3-5 year deployment horizons
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and drive organizational adoption of forward-looking technologies
- Establish KPIs for technology maturity and innovation velocity through 2026
- Manage a $2M+ annual innovation budget for strategic technology investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futures planning or innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (demonstrated through published work or patents)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, or sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech concepts into business strategy
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
