- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead a specialized futurist team of 8-12 technical specialists
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 3+ year implementation cycles
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience addressing Fortune 500 audiences
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, CES, etc.)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M annually
