Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect cross-functional R&D roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and climate-positive tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term market disruption forecasts
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conference keynotes
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused prototyping cycles
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of futurists, data scientists, and UX architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate tech
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience scaling innovation teams from concept to market leadership
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
