Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable computing
- Develop technology adoption roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic objectives
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into commercial prototypes
- Establish cross-industry innovation ecosystems with academic and corporate partners
- Author thought leadership on emerging tech ethical frameworks and governance models
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for prototyping and pilot programs
- Present strategic tech briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech)
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Deep understanding of Moore's Law evolution and post-silicon computing paradigms
- Experience building global innovation ecosystems and academic partnerships
- Expertise in technology ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST standards)
- Strategic certification from Singularity University or similar institution
