Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead strategic foresight workshops to anticipate industry disruptions and opportunities
- Present technology trend analyses and future scenarios to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to evaluate and prototype emerging technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards of directors
- Deep understanding of global tech trends and regulatory landscapes
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems (startups, academia, VCs)
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism domains
