Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 10-year strategic foresight framework for technology adoption and market evolution
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on post-2025 disruptions
- Produce quarterly trend briefings on quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Architect innovation pipelines for emerging markets in sustainable tech and neuro interfaces
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof business models
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and board meetings
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental foresight KPIs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of publishing trend analyses in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI development trajectories, and biotech regulations
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEPLE)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategy implementations
