- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive 5-year strategic plan, specifically focusing on milestones and deliverables for the year 2026.
- Trend Forecasting: Monitor global market shifts and technological advancements to identify high-impact opportunities for the company.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead the 'Future 2026' innovation lab, piloting experimental technologies before they reach mass production.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies for the C-suite and investors.
- Resource Allocation: Direct R&D investment towards technologies that will be critical for the 2026 landscape.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor roadmaps to ensure we stay ahead of the curve in the years leading up to 2026.
Qualifications
- Strategic Expertise: 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, product management, or futurism, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technological Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, AR/VR) and their potential trajectory by 2026.
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven ability to think decades ahead and influence organizational direction based on future scenarios.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in navigating ambiguity and driving innovation in uncertain environments.
