Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize high-performance 2D graphics rendering engines using WebGL and Canvas API.
- Create complex, interactive animations and micro-interactions that enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate static designs into dynamic, responsive experiences.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps performance on mobile and desktop devices.
- Maintain and evolve our internal 2D graphics library and toolset.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex graphics issues across different browsers and devices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices in graphics programming.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in web development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep understanding of WebGL, GLSL, and Canvas 2D API.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong mathematical foundation, particularly in linear algebra and vector mathematics.
- Experience with 2D physics engines or animation libraries (e.g., Matter.js, Pixi.js, GSAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
