Responsibilities
- Design ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI and biotech
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical boundaries
- Develop predictive models for societal impact of 2026+ tech deployments
- Collaborate with policy teams to shape industry-wide ethical standards
- Conduct real-time ethics audits for experimental tech prototypes
- Author thought leadership on responsible innovation for executive audiences
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Technology & Society, or equivalent field
- 5+ years applying ethical frameworks to commercial tech products
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and IEEE Ethically Aligned Design
- Proven experience translating ethical principles into technical requirements
- Strong background in risk assessment for emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences (engineers to policymakers)
- Portfolio published in top-tier ethics journals or industry whitepapers
