Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce AI ethics policies compliant with emerging 2026 regulatory frameworks
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for all AI deployment models
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineers, legal, and social scientists
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Train teams on responsible AI development practices and compliance requirements
- Monitor global AI regulatory trends and adapt organizational strategies
- Report directly to Chief Technology Officer on ethical compliance posture
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or Law with focus on AI
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Expertise in bias detection techniques for ML models and datasets
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global regulations
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing organizational ethics frameworks
