Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and risk assessments for ML models deployed in production environments
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical reviews into product development sprints
- Author compliance documentation and prepare for third-party audits of AI systems
- Monitor global regulatory trends and advise leadership on policy implications for AI deployment
- Design transparency mechanisms for AI decision-making processes and user-facing interfaces
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices and responsible data handling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and evolving 2026 tech legislation
- Proven experience conducting bias audits for machine learning models in production
- Strong background in policy development for high-stakes AI systems (healthcare/finance)
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, EIT Digital)
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and model versioning tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible technology preferred
