Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness in production models
- Develop industry-first transparency protocols for generative AI deployments
- Partner with legal teams to shape evolving AI regulatory compliance strategies
- Present ethical risk assessments to C-suite and regulatory bodies
- Mentor ethics task force across 5 international R&D hubs
- Author white papers on AI accountability for peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years experience in AI governance or responsible tech roles
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and EU AI Act compliance frameworks
- Proven track record influencing policy at state/national level
- Proficiency in Python for bias auditing tools (Fairlearn, Aequitas)
- Fluency in at least two non-English languages
