Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional research on bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Proactively identify emerging ethical risks in generative AI and autonomous systems
- Publish white papers and contribute to industry ethics standards bodies
- Mentor a team of ethics researchers and data scientists
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics or ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, FAccT)
- Expertise in bias detection techniques for large language models
- Experience with international AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with diverse stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
