This role requires visionaries who can translate theoretical breakthroughs into practical applications. You'll work directly with our CTO and innovation board to define the roadmap for the next decade of technological evolution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic AI roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and biocompatible interfaces
- Collaborate with Nobel laureates and academic institutions on frontier technologies
- Present future visions to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Oversee development of predictive models for societal impact of emerging technologies
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget for speculative innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
- Portfolio of implemented future-forecasting models or frameworks
