Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 AI technology roadmap with quarterly strategic reviews
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic AI concepts
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready AI capabilities into commercial products
- Present strategic vision to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Author thought leadership pieces on AI evolution and societal impact
- Mentor junior researchers in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in AI/ML or emerging tech with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record of shipping AI products with measurable business impact
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, governance frameworks, and responsible innovation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field preferred
- Experience with generative AI, AGI safety frameworks, or human-computer interfaces
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurism work or patented innovations
