Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced AI/ML frameworks for quantum-enhanced computing
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural network optimization
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at global tech conferences
- Manage $2M+ research budgets and cross-functional teams of 15+ scientists
- Develop strategic partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers and cloud providers
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable commercial applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and foster innovation through hackathons and symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or advanced AI research
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier AI/quantum conferences
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and quantum programming languages
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects with measurable impact
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA/BARDA funding
