Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for next-generation AI systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural-symbolic integration
- Develop scalable algorithms for real-time data processing and autonomous decision-making
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research prototypes into production-ready solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Secure external research funding through NSF, DARPA, and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning research with proven publication record
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Strong background in NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
- Experience with quantum computing libraries (Qiskit, Cirq) highly desirable
- Track record of translating research into practical applications
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for ethical AI development
