Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation neural architectures for unsupervised learning systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing ethical AI governance frameworks
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready solutions for enterprise clients
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for real-time cognitive augmentation
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in advanced ML techniques
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, or Cognitive Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing production-level AI systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Expertise in transformer architectures and federated learning
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in top AI conferences
- Proficiency in PyTorch 2.0, TensorFlow 2.13, and quantum programming frameworks
- Demonstrated experience securing government research grants
- Fluency in Python, C++, and Rust for high-performance implementations
- Understanding of 2026 regulatory landscape for autonomous systems
