Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum neural network architectures for 2026-era computing environments
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature AI, Science Robotics, etc.)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial AI solutions
- Drive innovation in explainable AI and bias mitigation techniques
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in AI/quantum computing (h-index >25)
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow Quantum, and D-Wave systems
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and error correction
- Experience with federated learning and edge AI deployment
- Strong background in AI ethics and regulatory compliance frameworks
