Responsibilities
- Develop novel AI architectures for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead research in explainable AI and ethical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to hybridize classical and quantum algorithms
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, ICML, Science)
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD interns and junior researchers in cross-functional projects
- Translate theoretical models into production-ready prototypes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and distributed computing
- Published record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional research teams
- Strong background in AI ethics and responsible AI development
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA preferred)
