Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Establish and nurture relationships with futurists, technologists, and academic institutions
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Build and manage a dedicated foresight team with expertise in emerging technologies
- Integrate future risk assessment into product development and corporate planning
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for stakeholders and industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills with data-driven decision making
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation
- Experience scaling foresight programs within enterprise organizations
- Strong network within global futurist and technology innovation communities
