Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology roadmap and drive our mission to revolutionize the industry by 2026. As a pivotal member of our executive team, you will define the technical strategy, oversee the development of next-generation platforms, and ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and future-proof.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering and business strategy, ensuring that our technical innovations align with our long-term goals. You will lead a team of world-class engineers and architects tasked with solving complex problems and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the company, specifically focusing on milestones leading up to 2026.
- Architecture & Infrastructure: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures and robust backend systems.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Product Innovation: Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical strategies and progress to the board of directors and executive stakeholders.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all systems adhere to industry standards for data security and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Engineering Director).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Leadership: Proven track record of building and scaling high-performance engineering teams.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt technology strategies accordingly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
