As a key member of our operations team, you'll support the implementation of our community college outreach initiatives, develop curriculum resources, and assist with student engagement activities. This role is perfect for education majors, social sciences students, or anyone passionate about making higher education accessible.
Our internship is designed to provide professional growth opportunities, mentorship from industry leaders, and a pathway to future career opportunities. Weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM) offer flexibility during the academic year while maintaining full-time hours during the summer session.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend student enrollment workshops and information sessions
- Develop promotional materials for community college outreach programs
- Analyze student data to identify engagement opportunities and program improvements
- Assist with virtual and in-person event logistics for prospective students
- Collaborate with academic advisors to create transfer pathway materials
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and program metrics
- Support social media campaigns targeting community college demographics
- Participate in weekly team strategy sessions
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college program (sophomore or higher)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Interest in education access, student development, or community outreach
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
- Must be able to receive academic credit through your institution
