Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large, complex datasets.
- Develop and test predictive models using Python, R, or SQL to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
- Participate in agile development sprints, code reviews, and team meetings.
- Document technical findings, methodologies, and model performance metrics.
- Conduct literature reviews on emerging data science trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical concepts.
- Available to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week, including potential flexibility for hybrid work.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be eligible for college credit requirements.
