Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for Denver's smart city infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
- Implement data analytics dashboards tracking urban sustainability metrics
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Research and integrate emerging IoT technologies for municipal applications
- Present project updates to stakeholders during sprint reviews
- Mentor junior interns on best coding practices
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in accredited Computer Science/Engineering program
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or C++ with academic projects
- Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Basic understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithm fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available for 20-30 hours/week during semester
