Responsibilities
- Execute social media content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Assist in SEO optimization for local Virginia Beach businesses
- Create engaging blog posts and email marketing campaigns
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and Sprout Social
- Support local event marketing initiatives for Virginia Beach tourism
- Collaborate on digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
- Contribute to quarterly marketing reports for client presentations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and social media algorithms
- Proficiency in Canva, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in Virginia Beach tourism or tech industries preferred
- Available for 20-25 hours/week during Summer/Fall 2024
