Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Assist in creating and scheduling content for our social media platforms to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- SEO Support: Conduct basic keyword research and help optimize website content to improve search engine rankings.
- Content Creation: Draft blog posts, captions, and press releases under the guidance of senior marketing staff.
- Market Research: Analyze competitor activities and local market trends in New Orleans to identify growth opportunities.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of marketing campaigns and assist in preparing weekly performance reports.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of local marketing events and networking meetups.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or recently graduated.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn above all else.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to New Orleans, Louisiana.
- Time Commitment: Availability to work 15-20 hours per week.
