What You Will Do
- Assist in executing local SEO strategies to improve search visibility for Columbus businesses.
- Create engaging blog posts and social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn) tailored to weekend audiences.
- Analyze website traffic and engagement metrics using Google Analytics.
- Conduct market research to identify trending topics in the Ohio market.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets for campaigns.
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) for the Summer/Fall semester.
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (WordPress) is a plus.
- Strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A passion for digital trends and local community engagement.
Responsibilities
- SEO Execution: Assist in on-page optimization and keyword research for local Columbus businesses.
- Content Creation: Write and edit blog posts and social media copy that drive engagement.
- Analytics: Monitor weekly performance reports and suggest actionable improvements.
- Social Media Management: Schedule posts and interact with the community on weekends.
- Research: Compile competitive intelligence reports on local industry trends.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or currently pursuing a degree (Junior/Senior preferred).
- Schedule: Must be available for weekends (Saturday & Sunday) for the upcoming Summer/Fall session.
- Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms.
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
