As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with senior strategists to drive organic traffic growth, optimize web content, and analyze performance metrics. This is an excellent opportunity to build a robust portfolio while contributing to real-world campaigns.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify high-value keywords and search trends relevant to our industry.
- On-Page Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to optimize landing pages, meta tags, and image alt text for maximum search engine visibility.
- Technical SEO Audits: Assist in identifying technical issues that may impact site performance and crawlability.
- Content Strategy: Support the creation of blog posts and articles that drive engagement and backlinks.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics and prepare weekly reports on ranking improvements.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor strategies to uncover new opportunities for our clients.
Qualifications
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Academic Standing: Must be able to receive college credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and WordPress is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
