Job Description
We are on the precipice of a technological revolution, and Nexus Future Systems is leading the charge. We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Technology Strategy (2026 Vision) to architect the roadmap that will define our industry in the coming decade. This is not just a job; it is a mandate to shape the future.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between abstract technological possibilities and executable business strategies. You will be responsible for identifying emerging trends—ranging from advanced AI to quantum computing—and translating them into a cohesive 2026 vision for our global enterprise.
If you are a forward-thinker who thrives on ambiguity and possesses the strategic acumen to turn 'what if' into 'what's next,' we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive 2026 Technology Roadmap, aligning long-term innovation goals with business objectives.
- Identify and assess high-potential emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Blockchain) and evaluate their applicability to our core business.
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, Product, and Executive teams to prioritize initiatives that offer the highest ROI for the future.
- Establish partnerships with leading tech incubators, think tanks, and academic institutions to stay ahead of the curve.
- Present complex strategic visions to the C-Suite and Board of Directors, securing buy-in for bold, innovative projects.
- Monitor global market shifts and geopolitical factors that could impact technology adoption and strategy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or executive consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies, specifically in AI, Machine Learning, and Sustainable Tech.
- Proven track record of turning visionary concepts into actionable, scalable business strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from diverse sources to predict market trends.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field is preferred.
