Responsibilities
- Assist the finance team in preparing monthly reports, balance sheets, and financial statements with high accuracy.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform data reconciliation and entry using financial software and spreadsheets.
- Support the payroll and budgeting processes by organizing financial documentation.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions regarding client portfolio management.
- Shadow senior analysts to understand industry trends and financial modeling techniques.
- Help maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Detroit metro area.
