Responsibilities
- Assist Developers: Support the engineering team in writing, testing, and debugging code for web and mobile applications.
- System Maintenance: Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot basic technical issues within the company network.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct research on emerging technologies, software updates, and industry best practices.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation, wikis, and user manuals to ensure team knowledge is centralized.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and agile sprint planning sessions to understand project roadmaps.
- User Support: Provide Tier 1 support for internal employees regarding software installations and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Credit Eligibility: Must be eligible to receive College Credit for this internship position.
- No Experience Needed: Open to candidates with no prior professional experience; enthusiasm to learn is paramount.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/macOS) and basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a set schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) during the semester.
