Memphis Digital Solutions is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Marketing Intern to join our growing team. As an intern, you will work closely with our marketing managers to assist in various campaigns, from social media management to basic SEO research. Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Conduct basic market research to identify trends and competitor activities in the local Memphis market.
- Support the content team in drafting blog posts, newsletters, and press releases.
- Optimize web content for search engines (SEO) by researching and inserting relevant keywords.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance and prepare weekly performance reports.
- Attend team meetings and contribute fresh ideas to our brainstorming sessions.
- Help with administrative tasks related to project management and client communications.
Qualifications
- No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level position.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work at least 15-20 hours per week.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn from feedback.
