Responsibilities
- Assist Development Teams: Collaborate with senior developers to write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python and JavaScript.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, API documentation, and internal wiki updates.
- Testing & QA: Assist in writing unit tests and performing quality assurance checks on new features.
- Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects reported by users or QA teams.
- Technical Support: Provide basic technical support to internal stakeholders and assist in triaging helpdesk tickets.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Coursework: Completed at least one semester of college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, or C# preferred) and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and propose logical solutions.
- Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, including some flexibility for evening or weekend work during critical project phases.
